Smok nord coils replace the normal coils in the Smok Nord vaporizer, they are made of pure ceramic and provide an absolute clean taste. The Smok Nord Coils can also be used when smoking with Uwell Valyrian coils atomizers by removing the stock coil heads. The smok nord vape coils provide excellent vapour production with both liquids and concentrates. They are available in 0.3 ohm resistance.

If you have a Smok NORD, or a UWell Valyrian coils, it's recommended to use the Smok Nord Ceramic Coil Heads after a while until you get a "burnt" taste from your pre-coiled ones. This  is because the coils haven´t been cleaned during the use and they get a little bit "dirty".

In this article we will review how to remove and replace your own Smok Nords and Uwell Coils.

How to remove your old uwell valyrian coils?

Make sure you can vape without any problems on your current settings; open up the drip tip and slide it up (comes off very easily) , unscrew the old coil head; attach the new coil head & make sure you tighten it as much as possible before putting everything back together.

When to replace your Uwell Valyrian Coils head: after every 7ml of use or earlier if there is a burnt taste/dry hit (vape too hot). If there's still liquid inside just top it up with some more and continue vaping.

How to change your smok nord coils?

Make sure you wear gloves and read everything carefully. 

Step 1: take lid off calabash-style vase and empty contents 

Step 2: take out cotton wool filter with dab tool 

Step 3: clean element with isopropyl alcohol, pop it back together 

Step 4: cut top off old coil head about 1cm above rubber base - I find this is easiest with a pair of scissors, take care not to damage the metal piece underneath 

Step 5: unscrew old coil head using Philips screwdriver, place new one inside. If it doesn't sit flush you may need to adjust the legs 

Step 6: cut bottom off new coil head about 1cm above rubber base - I find this is easiest with a pair of scissors, take care not to damage the ceramic element inside. Place cotton wool filter back in and re-assemble calabash vase. 

Intense Flavour Production

Unwrapping the coils from the protective plastic film was easy, but getting them out of each pack could be tricky at times if you don't want to puncture one of them, because they are tightly wound together. I did not bother removing them from each other though since it works by twisting through the air holes anyway. Both the coils are made of a composite material that contains cotton, wood pulp and flax paper. They have a resistance of 1.4 ohms and come in either classic or mesh.
